Self portrait Saturday: with a pet

I know, I know it's Monday and I'm posting what I should have posted Saturday.....
It was a very busy and short weekend due to the fact that we are renovating our hallway....

But all in all this weeks theme for the "Self portrait Saturday" was "with a pet". I have a few pets.....one gerbil (my sweet, sweet baby) and about 10 fishes :D

Here are the pictures, but keep in mind that it's very hard to get a gerbil on camera :)

Angel costume

Yesterday after I posted my photos for the "self portrait saturday" I realised that I never blogged about my angel costume I made last year for the halloween office party.
The dress was made using a burda style pattern 02/2011 #104 (link to burda here) and the wings were made by me and my hubby.

Self portrait saturday: with a prop

This weeks theme for the self portrait was "with a prop". When I first read the theme I instantly knew that I wanted to make a mustache :D  I was always admiring the wedding pictures with mustaches on pinterest and this time it was an opportunity for me to do one...

The wedding dress

One of the things I made last month was search for the perfect wedding dress.
After trying a few dresses it all came down to these two.

Cloud nails

I've always wanted to try Jane's (Nailside) cloud technique for nails.
So here it is:

I know the photo is not that clear but it's the only one that I have.

Last month

Hello fellow bloggers,

I know I haven't been posting in the last month but I've had a very busy month: searching for the wedding dress, experimenting with a little nail polish, making small bags and trinkets for our celebration of the beginning of spring, experimenting with paper quilling, I've been busy with wedding arrangements and I've launched my shop both on blogger and facebook.

As for my shop, I'm kinda afraid to make a etsy account (I really don't know why, maybe because of their terms and conditions, I don't fully understand them yet) so I made another blog with all my products. Momentarily it's only for Romania only but you are invited to take a look if you want :D

Self portrait Saturday 2 in 1

I've been following Dana's (Wonder Forest) link up "Self portrait Saturday" since the beginning and I wanted to participate . But it seemed that I lacked courage.

My courage finally came last week...I took the pictures but never got around to post them.

The theme for last week's link up was "winter", but since outside our winter is changing into spring I took the pics inside doing my best to capture a little winter in them.

So here are the pics:

And this week theme is "eyes". It was an excuse for me to use my new 180 makeup color pallet. I played a little with the colors and this is what I came up with.
