After Christmas

I hope you all had a very nice Christmas with family and friends.
I am proud to say that all my handmade presents were received with joy and the brooches are worn proudly and my dad really, really loved the "painting".

I'm leaving you for now...I want to make me a nice coat this week and I'll post about it on the way.
Love and kisses,

Christmas gifts part III

As a promised in part II (here) today I'm going to show you some more hadmade gifts.

First some more brooches....
....I made this zipper flowers at the begining og the year and I didn't know what to do with them, so I turned them in brooches. All I have to say about them is that they are really loved by the new owners...that makes me so happy....

Christmas gifts part I

This month I worked a lot for my handmade x-mass gifts. I did all the gifts, the cards, wrappings, packages....I only bought the jars from IKEA and some brooch pins.
You can find here, here, here and here my progres with the Christmas gifts.
So in this post I'll tell you about the x-mass card.
I made 16 of them, but I already gave some of them and I didn't got to take photos. So you'll manage with what I have left :D

Brooches

Because one of my colleagues really loved the cloudy brooch I made a few weeks ago, I decided to make her a variation of that ideea......so I came up with the sunny brooch.
And while I was making it I thought that it will make a really nice couple with the nighty-night brooch....you know....with a moon :D....so I made another one.

A night's work....

I made some jewelry and accessory last night and today after work.
Got a good inspiration from Milomade's buttons work and made 2 brooches so far...I have to make a few more for my family as Christmas gifts as they like these two so much (sshhh don't tell them that the brooches are x-mass gifts :P ).

X-mass is coming.....

So......this year I'm planning to make all the Christmas presents, cards, wrappings and everything else.
I've already got my list: cookies in a jar, mocha cocoa in a jar and sugar scrubs. You can find the recipes here.
But I like to give out things I like too, so I tested the cookies in a jar recipe a few days ago and they turned out great (devoured in about 2 hours and they are sooooooo good with milk). They were so good that I had requests to make another batch today, and I did   :D
Anyways here are some photos of the first batch, because today's batch was for my sister in law B'day party and were out before I could take pictures.....

Gifts in a jar

I've seen a lot of ideas over on Pinterest for Christmas gifts, but what catched my eyes was the "gift in a jar" category.
They are so cute.......
And you can put everything in them from parts of recipes, scrubs to already baked pies. The coolest thing is that you can decorate the jars in sooooo many ways.
I will link what I stumbled upon until now and most of these recipes for gifts in jars have printable templates for decorating them....

Of course, on Pinterest ( :D ) there are a lot of great tutorials even for those who don't sew.
Let's see.....
